Construction Method

We employ a laminated construction methodology, which lets us bury wood blocks inside the door at any location that hardware might be fastened. The advantages of this construction method and wood blocking are:

• Superior strength and stability

• Consistent finished door edge

• Advanced fastener holding capability for attaching hinges and hardware

• Ability to prep slabs for custom hardware during production

• Provide custom widths, heights, and thicknesses

Finishing:

Doors are sanded prior to applying the primer coat and hand sanded after the primer dries. Because of the doors being sanded twice and our specially formulated primer, only light sanding is required prior to painting. Doors will not expand and contract after sealing on all six sides.
